Yenni Ramos Trujillo is a dedicated coffee grower from Tarqui, Huila, Colombia. Alongside her husband, Ferney Cruz, and their family she has been cultivating high-quality specialty coffee for two decades at Finca La Esperanza. Her farm is a three-hectare property located in Vereda Ricabrisa and spans across different altitudes, reaching up to 2,000 meters, and is surrounded by the Vereda Carmen and La Vega areas, known for their coffee-growing traditions. 

Processing:

Yenni and her family hand pick ripe coffee cherries and hand sort them before floating in tanks and removing “floaters” which are considered defects.
The coffee undergoes 30-40 hours fermentation during which time flavours become intensify and more complex. The coffee is then spread on drying beds and slowly dried for around 15 days depending on temperature.
