This coffee is produced by small holder farmers in the Colasay region in Jaén. We were able to visit Origin Coffee Lab in Peru this year for the first time although we have been buying coffee from them for a number of years.  When we arrived at OCL’s lab in Colasay we got to taste a variety of coffees from producers in that area. This coffee had a nice depth to it as well as notes of brown sugar and tamarind which we thought would be good as an espresso option.

We bought El Puquio directly through Origin Coffee Lab in Peru.
